tending the smallest seeds of faith

what is open faith?

Open faith? It's connected with Open Source.

Computer code that is Open Source is available for anybody to modify and redistribute.

Open source is a decentralized software development model that encourages open collaboration. A main principle of open source software is that it is collaboratively developed; each person involved in developing the code freely uses what others have written - often without even knowing the author of the code - and adds to it their personal elaborations.

The open source movement in software began as a response to the limitations of proprietary code. The model is used for projects such as in open source eCommerce, open source technology, and open source drug discovery.

Open faith? It's faith that builds on what others have written and thought and said: non-proprietary and open to ongoing revision, it also take dedication and commitment and work to develop.
